Lawyers know that those accused of a DUI need a DUI lawyer to represent them to minimize the impact on them and others from a DUI conviction. http://expertlawfirm.com

I am concerned about the election inconsistencies in Detroit, and know that you are concerned about this as well. Why were so many precincts ineligible for recount? Why does Michigan law prohibit recount precisely in those circumstances they are needed, like cases of inconsistencies in ballot counts? Please act on behalf of citizens of Detroit and Wayne County to advocate for change in Michigan law to ensure ethical voting standards.

Psalm 53:3

Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

The following occurred during Walter Reed’s tenure as St. Tammany District Attorney:

Judge Mary Deveroux knowingly accepted two cases #2013-14154 K, and NS130568 which Louisiana or St. Tammany Parish did not have venue/subject matter jurisdiction.

Divorce case no. 2013-14154 K papers were served by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Department while my husband was a resident of Mississippi, where he moved within 48 hours of me being served bogus NS130568 contempt of court papers. Charles Branton, Attorney & Court Mediator and my husband David L. Guy, II purposely used Charles Branton’s business address as my husband’s contact address on the petition for divorce. Charles Branton and Vicky Crow, Clerk of Court have sent me multiple documents with the name of David Lee Guy, II and David Lee Guy, III for case no. 2013-14154. I am the victim of an elaborate identity theft/assumed identity in Michigan and Louisiana. Charles Branton is representing one of my husband’s alias’. My husband has purchased multiple properties in St. Tammany Parish in my name and various alias’ of his name without my knowledge or consent. I allege this was through my and my child(ren) identity theft in order to fraudulently obtain monies from a huge settlement. Interestingly, Judge Mary Deveroux has been the subject of past alleged property schemes covered by WWL TV. I could go on and on about each and every corrupt court hearing and conference, yet I will let you review the case files for yourself. Note that Charles Branton has two Guy divorce files in his office.

NS130568 has as many egregious violations of the law, beginning with St. Tammany Parish enforcing a judgment of child support without a judgment! Secondly, I was served contempt of court papers (not by STPSO) and maliciously prosecuted under the wrong name by Starla Vansteenis, ADA for contempt of something that was never before the court. Third, I was incarcerated under the wrong name by Rebecca Kennedy, Hearing Officer, yes that’s right, hearing officer! My child support was then raised by Rebecca Kennedy after I became homeless. Third, my children have never resided in Louisiana. The State of Louisiana does not have any involvement with this case! So, who is the instigator? Is it a coincidence that my husband was never arrested through a Michigan warrant for admitted indecent contact with my minor disabled daughter?

Judge Mary Deveroux was well aware of the history of abuse in my marriage and prior, including my husband being prosecuting by this same court for domestic violence and battery. Judge Deveroux yelled at me in open court when I brought up the domestic violence and insisted that I divulge my residence address, phone number, email address, address of employment, supervisor etc. in violation of court rule. The interrogatories (by Charles Branton through David Lee Guy, III) included every job that I held since graduating high school (35 yrs. ago), dates, position held, address, wage, supervisor and many other lengthy, burdensome, privileged and irrelevant questions. These were ordered to be completed in less then three days, another violation of court rule. Judge Deveroux refused to allow both the public defender, Ms. Fabre’ or Mr. Montelbano, ADA to represent me. The stalking, cyber-stalking, property destruction, theft and home invasion is directly related to these cases.

I have been the subject of a multitude of civil and human rights violations by this court. The abuse of power is frightening and unfortunately familiar. Evidently it is easier for those who are suppose to serve, protect and follow the law to collude and cover-up.

The court and it’s officers as well as the identity theft has caused me to become homeless and indigent. I am asking for restitution, whistle blowers reward, as well as reimbursement of all monies embezzled for child support, including while employed at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Who cashed my $150 money order for court cost on NS case?

Is it because my husband is a veteran retired by court marshal and currently working as a GS at the NAS that the court and law enforcement is not prosecuting him? Or could it be bribery, extortion or racketeering? How was my husband able to get Louisiana vehicle tags with a Mississippi address?

If I may make a suggestion…change the court building name to anything other then St. Tammany Justice Center, it offends those who know better.

Help, please! The courtesy of a response would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Kathryn Guy

I heard you had interest in our event for the May Day Rally in Detroit. I was wondering what your thoughts are on it and if you’d be willing to push for a moratorium on foreclosures and water shutoffs in Detroit and/or help us out in any other way. I believe you know my friend Andrew Sarpolis.

I wholeheartedly oppose your #4498 bill. This is violating the rights of legal homeschooling families. This needs to be stopped.

Thanks you for you time Stephanie Chang

Dear Miss Chang,

Your proposed new legislation to require home schooled children to be registered within their school district and require scheduled visitations by a list of city officials, physicians, or licensed social workers is unconstitutional.

Please use your elected position to make laws for the criminal, not for law abiding citizens of this great state of Michigan.

We the People will not accept your desire to terrorize our families with foolish legislation.

Thank You,

Stephen Young

Representative Stephanie Chang.

HOW DARE YOU draw parallels between and homeschooling

and violence against children. Homeschool parents choose to

educate their kids at home because THEY LOVE THEM.

Those poor children are not dead because they were

homeschooled, for God’s sake. They’re dead because their

mother was a deranged sociopath. This legislation is nothing

more than an opportunity for those who disagree with home

education to take a shot at us.

I take SO MUCH OFFENSE at the insinuation that as a parent,

I don’t have the ability and the right to look after MY OWN

CHILD without being supervised by the state.

As a representative of our govenrment, you have violated MY

FAMILY’S CIVIL RIGHTS and the rights of ONE MILLION

HOMESCHOOLING FAMILIES across America. You have

DISCRIMINATED AGAINST US. YOU ARE A

HOMESCHOOLING RACIST.

I wonder if there’s a discrimination suit against you? If not, you

can bet there will be. This bill is so offensive. Can’t you see

that? You’re saying that CHILDREN ARE NOT SAFE WITH

THEIR OWN PARENTS. What’s next? The parents have to

hand their kids over to the government to raise, because they

can’t be trusted to keep them safe, clean, and healthy? Come

on, people. THESE ARE OUR OWN CHILDREN. GET

REAL.

I do not support your bill for mandatory checks for homeschooled children. It is wrong headed. (And I homeschool one of my two children AND I live in YOUR district.) The problem is not with the lack of checks in homeschooling—many children live in abusive situations for years or their entire childhood and go to school—public and private. Are you going to have someone check on ALL children to be fair?

In these cases, as with the that mother who killed her children, there was a community that ignored it. What did the neighbors say and to whom (beside the local media)? Where were the fathers? And if you want to get government involved where was Friends of the Court? I understand Child Protective Services visited the woman—aren’t your going after the Wrong people with this initiative??

Your proposal so far is vague and subject to way to much interpretation by whichever “authority” is to check on the children. What would they be looking for? A police officer is much different than a social worker or a physician. Clergy? Really? Do you have something more specific outlined??

When horrible things happen, we must look to see what can be done to prevent it, but reactive governmental overreach (as someone else here said) is not the answer. I don’t feel like you have an understanding of the real problem or of homeschooling, its communities, and our rights as homeschoolers when you propose something like this.

Please stop attacking homeschooling families. You are using this case to justify your, obviously, prejudiced viewpoint of homeschooling. How did the school system miss the signs of abuse in this case? I’m assuming the mother didn’t murder her children without prior abuse. Please put your time to better use and do something that would actually help children who are in similar tragic situations. Going after families that have chosen to be fully responsible for raising their children by educating them seems like a major misstep.
commented 2015-04-17 14:44:27 -0700
I do not support your bill to introduce mandatory checks on homeschooled children. All this is is more intrusion by the state into our homes, a place the state does not belong.

This case has nothing to do with homeschooling, it was just the lie the mother chose to use.

State Representative Chang, Last year there was a shooting in California…a kid went on a rampage, after making a video of himself sitting in his car. He sat in his car and fumed, then he drove his car to one place and shot people, then he got back in his car and drove somewhere else, where he shot more people. Then he got back in his car, and led police in a merry chase through the city, injuring still more people in the process.

This proposed legislation is like us looking at the above case and contemplating banning or regulating the type of car this young man was using.

The car had nothing to do with it, even though he used the car extensively in his crime spree.

The fact that this lady SAID she was homeschooling her kids had nothing to do with their deaths. The legislation is just lawmakers attempting to use this case as an excuse for more overreach.
commented 2015-04-17 10:50:36 -0700
Homeschoolers are not the problem! That lady decided to murder her kids- period. Even if the kids were in public school, she still would have killed them. Your bill or law that your trying to pass is ludricous and only makes you look clueless on what and where the help really needs to be- like abuse that’s happening in schools!! Leave homeschoolers out of this.
commented 2015-04-17 04:26:20 -0700
Are you completely insane going after homeschoolers because of the 2 kids found in a freezer in Detroit? Homeschooling has NOTHING to do with that case! That murderous mother was not a homeschooler! She’s a murderer! Those kids were not being educated at home! If you want to go after a REAL problem, how about going after CPS? They visited twice, but did NOTHING to save those kids— because they were poor African Americans. Instead, they blame innocent people, like my friends Josh and Brenda Burns, taking children away from good parents who really love them. Look up www.TornFamily.com if you want to see a story where you could actually step in and make a difference. CPS and DHS are what need reform— not homeschoolers! If you knew anything about statistics, you’d know that homeschoolers out-perform their public school peers and have for years! Homeschoolers are doing a great job. Leave them alone.
commented 2015-04-16 12:18:07 -0700
I don’t understand why HOMESCHOOL reporting is the item on your desk today when Blair’s children had evidence of abuse WHILE STILL IN SCHOOL. Why wouldn’t better SCHOOL CONTROLS and what should have been done there when they had the chance be the item of first discussion?

The extended FAMILY, SCHOOL & SOCIAL SYSTEM failed these children. So why would all homeschoolers lose freedoms because of that? Wouldn’t it make more sense to address these systems first or Even also?

Or is it that’s just too big a fish to fry so your voice needs to raised about something you think you could possibly get your name on as passed?

Congratulations Stephanie!!!

I met you while you were canvassing my neighborhood (Detroit near Lincoln Park, Fort St/Outer Drive area) and I was VERY impressed, so much so that I put up a Stephanie Chang sign on my lawn. In August I had to relocate to Alabama but I made sure to tell my family and friends about you. Hopefully they helped get you elected. I just wanted to congratulate you and I look forward to hearing about the great things you will do for that area. Take Care!!

Good evening Ms. Chang,

My name is Vicki and I am the President of BSWSO (BSW Student Org) at Grand Valley State University. We are hosting a “Ladies Love Politics” event at GVSU’s Grand Rapids campus on Monday October 20, 2014 at 6:30 pm. I was wondering if you would be interested in being one of our keynote speakers. We are hoping the event will talk not only about the lack of the female voice in politics and encourage women to vote and become involved, but also speak to the social work aspect of politics and why social workers should be active politically.

We would like to have you present for about 30 minutes. Your co-presenters would be Marcia Hovey-Wright and Winnie Brinks. Duane from NASW-Michigan suggested checking if you were available for this event.

Please let me know as soon as you are able if you would be interested in speaking at this event.

Thank you and please feel free to call me if you have any questions (616-633-1306). You can also email me at dykev@mail.gvsu.edu as well.

Thank you for your time and for considering speaking at our event.
